Mountain Oasis

Riley smirks she bolts and is already next to Rain, she snaps the deers hooves, then grabs a hoof and pulls back, dislocating the leg, and bringing the thrashing deer to the ground, Riley laughs and holds it head down, "Go ahead." she barks with a laugh.

Rain smiles and rushes forward grabbing the thrashing deer's throat. Lying down she holds on panting and feeling the deer, as it attmept escape but with Riley and Rain it was in vain. Rain holds on the deers attempts of escape fleeting with every second. She feels it weaken and struggle for breath. Rain would hate to be killed in such a way and she loosens her grip slightly as if to say that she is sorry for what she has done. But then the deer begins to become cold as it takes its last breath.

Riley nods and drops the deer's leg she barks "Thank the spirits for this meal and let it bless and norish out body." her head lifted to the sky.

Rain looks at the fallen deer and without uttering a word, she howls loudly.

Riley smiles "Its the circle of life Rain." she barks and licks her paw.

Rain nods and digs prods the deers belly. Without warning Rain bites into it and starts to eat.

Night trots into the area smelling deer and wolves. Seeing Rain and Riley, she dips her head respectively to them and wags her tail happily seeing their catch. "Nice kill!" she called as she padded into ear shot of the two faes.

Rain look up her muzzle already covered in the deers blood. She smiles, "Hey Night! We're just umm eating." She wags her tail happily.

Night laughs and wrinkles her nose as the smell of a carcass far away hits her nose. Ignoring it, she licks a paw rid of dirt and comes up to stand next to the alpha. A friendly smile spread across her muzzle.

Rain smiles, "Go ahead, its for all. I was just tasting it." She smiles already having had her fill and backs away sitting down and licking her muzzle.

Night flicks her ears, "Thanks." she said, bending down and ripping off a piece of meat that would fill her up. Laying down, she chewed on the meat wondering. "Better make sure no coyotes or bears try to take this. The smell of blood will draw them in." Night stated, although it was obvious. She watched as fish tales filled out of the water and dive back under the surface again as quick as they had appeared. The hunting was going to be good this season.

Riley smiled "I've got that covered." she winks to them and takes a small nibble from the deers leg.

Rain looks at them and lies down rubbing her muzzle between her paws and licking her paws slightly. "I'm, sure you do." She watches the fish and smiles, "Seems like its going o be a good year..." She comments looking at the birds overhead.

Riley smiled "A year of plenty." she barks, Riley wags her tail. She looks at the sky and stares at the clouds, "I miss you..." she whsipers

Rain finishes cleaning her paws and muzzle and stands up. She approaches Riley from behind, "I'm right here." she smiles padding by, her tail waving high in the air. Rain laughs and winks, not entirely sure whom Riley was talking to. She hops onto a small boulder and sits down on it looking around, keeping watch.

Riley's fur bristles in the wind, "Rain." she laughs, and smiles, she returned staring at the clouds.

I burst through the bushes jumping up onto a rock. A stumble slightly and look around. I see Rain, Riley and Night and I smile. My pack. I enter my head low and lie down nearby. I look back waiting for Malcolm.

I arrive late panting, I chuckle and then eye the Alpha and Beta, I crumple down and bow, I smile to Night then look up at Rajani.

I smile and hop down lightly, landing next to him. Copying him. I watch them and then nudge him, "C'mon we can get some food later."

I smirk "You don't think they would mind If we hunt know." my stomache growls

I look back at them, "Nah we wouldn't be intruding. C'mon." i wag my tail happily and walk off sniffing around.

"Alright." I chuckle, and look to see Roze, "Hey Roze!" I bark

I look over at Roze and bow my head slightly. She was after all an elder, "Good morning Roze."

She smiles then looks over her should to see Roze, Malcolm and Rajani, "Come on you sillies, come get some food." she barks walking over to them.
